The overall purposes and objectives of the computer technology program at Saint Paul School are to support the development of the student’s knowledge of productive technological skills. By the time the student graduates from Saint Paul School, he/she will have developed a basic understanding of Microsoft Office programs and the technology expertise to complete in-depth research by navigating the Internet.

The purposes and objectives of the computer technology program at Saint Paul School reflect the mission statement by encouraging the student to be responsible in his/her use of computer technology. The program emphasizes appropriate, ethical, and responsible use of the Internet and equipment, as well as the importance of citing resources properly. The student will develop confidence while using the computer in both an educational and recreational setting, preparing him/her to become a productive member of the community.
