Rubber Ball Jellies Cooking Guide

  1. 3 tbsp gelatin (stirred in about 50 ml water)

  2. 1 cup water

  3. 1 tbsp sugar

  4. 1 pinch salt

  5. 1/2 tsp vanilla extract

  6. Round-shaped instant jellies (here, they are sold in cold drink section in supermarkets)


  1. Mix water, sugar, salt, stir. Using low heat, continue to stir and add the thick lump of gelatin. Patience, patience, it will melt nicely in the end. :D Add vanilla extract and stir.

  2. Put some of the small round jellies or chopped fruits inside the mold. Use a funnel to pour the liquid gelatin inside. When the molds are cool enough, put them in the fridge for about an hour or two.

  3. Remove mold carefully, and enjoy! This recipe yields about 12 balls (about 1 inch in diameter).
